Children First

Children First is Ireland's national guidance for the protection and welfare of children. The aim of Children First is to promote the safety and well-being of children. Children are very welcome in the Community Gardens, with under 12's accompanied by an adult.

These are some resources to ensure that the Community Gardens are a safe place for children.

A guardian must give permission for a child to take part in activites in the Community Gardens

A Health Form should be signed by a guardian on behalf of a child taking part in activities in the Community Gardens

Consent Form for the use of Photographs or Video - click here
Community Gardens will not permit photographs, video or other images of young people to be taken without the consent of the parents/carers and children.
